Nate makes this incredibly hard to listen to. It’s like he’s hitched his wagon to this just to hear himself talk. Best season of Survivor we’ve had in a while and this pod has fallen completely flat. There is a reason none of Nate’s content has been sustainable…bring back Clem and never let Nate speak again.

Nate is insufferable

This last episode with just Tommy was literally embarrassing. Why would you not just wait to record…

It’s a fun to hear y’all perspectives and reactions and kudos to whoever was doing the solo episode. Fun to hear your raw reactions to the latest episode. Way to plan 20 minutes solo and nail it!

Not sure these guys even like the show survivor. Literally every comment was a complaint. I tried for a few episodes but ended up not being able to even listen.

Most fans haven’t seen every season and are rewatching old seasons… when you guys spoil prior seasons for throw away arguments and proof for your dumb takes it makes the podcast unlistenable cause you’ll ruins a whole season… just talk about the current season, it’s already enough to ask that people tolerate Nate to begin with

All they do is complain about how they don’t like survivor (jaded NYC nonsense). And their recording schedule is entirely inconsistent. They miss entire weeks and seasons.

I can no longer listen because of Nate. The rest of you do a good job, but I can’t stomach Nate anymore.

Podcast is great- love what these guys are doing. My only issue is that the ads are way louder than the show. Pretty annoying, but I keep coming back for the content

Keep Snuffing Torches! Best Survivor podcast out there!

Like the title says. I don’t even watch Survivor. I used to watch it when I was younger with my grandpa but haven’t really watched it since. I experienced Season 41, 42, and 43 through Snuffin Torches and enjoyed every second of it.

Mike was so funny. They actually asked him all of the questions that we all think about but never get the answers to about the show!

For fans by fans. Relatable for fans who have watched since season 1 or season 43. Great breakdown of each episode with fun banter and analysis. All with the barstool charm! Would recommend as a companion podcast for anyone watching.

How has nobody on this show ever stop and realized how awful Nate is? I literally scream in my car whenever he opens his mouth. He knows nothing, but acts like he knows everything. All of the other hosts are generally funny, well informed, and entertaining. Nate makes me want to throw my phone across the room

Great show. Tommy Smokes is the Josh Gibson of Survivor. The greatest player to never get to play.

Season 43 winner is going to be Justine. She’s fit to win the whole show while selling cyber security to each contestant

I agree with all the previous comments addressing Nate. Listening to him is mentally and physically draining.

Listened to a few episodes and their takes are just so negative and get borderline mean at times to the cast. Not very enjoyable to listen to. Could really benefit from a female host, especially since they continually sweep misogyny under the rug and call the women dramatic for what they experience.

These guys have the worst takes and not even sure if they know any survivor history and enjoy watching the show. One time one of the hosts wasn’t even talking and was screaming about a hockey game. If you’re a true fan of this show, don’t listen to this pod.

I’m not sure these guys even like Survivor. I’ve only listened the past 2 seasons and can’t do it anymore. They were making watching Survivor, a show that I love, not as enjoyable.

I’ve been a survivor fan since the beginning, and really enjoy this podcast. I love Jake and Tommy. I wish Nate spoke a little less. That’s my only complaint.

Title. Saying 5th place Omar is a worse player than a 0 vote finalist is insanity

The show functions best when Tommy, Jeff, Glenny, and Jake occupy the conversation. Nate isn’t awful, but seems to just steer the convo off the rails a ton. As a whole, they do a really good job of recaping and analyzing each episode. I do think they would benefit from having a another barstool personality like Kate or Fran watching the show and in the mix.

Me and my boyfriend love listening to this podcast after survivor episodes they break down what happened and bring up great points you may not have thought about

Definitely a barstool product.

You can just feel the collective insecurity oozing out of these hosts. Making it personal about the players is not a substitute for actual game-play commentary. Tommy would absolutely get into a beef over the shelter structure if he went on. I’d give a zero if I could. Proof that not everyone should have a podcast.

I love listening to these guys! Tommy has great insight into the strategy and I love to hear all their predictions and how they relate current players to past players. Glenny’s comments always make me laugh out loud!

Your first take in the first 5 minutes was really tough. I’ve actually never listened to your podcast before. I wanted to hear a survivor recap so I searched and your guys came up. When you guys said it wasn’t racially motivated … that was very insensitive. You spent 3 minutes feeling bad for Jonathan and not coming to Drea and Mary-Anne’s defense at all. I don’t know I just feel like as a person of color, I cringed listening to you guys. That might not have been your intention but… it came off not so great? Why not consider bringing a person of color from a previous season to help navigate this if you were not prepared? .. “I don’t want the season to be too woke or whatever”

Best Survivor Theme podcast in the game right now, I heard a rumor that they’re going to have Jeff on this summer, can’t wait for that interview.

I love that I found a show other than RHAP that talks about survivor. I love Tommy, Jeff, and Glenny. But I can not stand Nate. He has the worst takes on literally everything. I have disagreed with 99% of everything he has said. He is also just plain rude?? Making fun of contestants based on their weight isn’t what anyone wants to hear. If Nate leaves, I will give this pod 5 stars.

Feel like Jake adds nothing-it’s funny when everyone clowns on the contestants though Idk just feels like a very pg podcast Tommy is the star on it obviously

I suggest watching on YouTube. Apparently Jake takes his clothes off randomly.

I want to love this. But they think the only value a woman has is to look pretty. The constant “she’s a mom” “she’s hot” “is she funny” “she’s a mean girl” limiting the women is exhausting. Some basic respect for women and their game play is needed.

Nate is an absolute ear sore. Big fan of the rest of the crew, but Nate is the worst on literally anything he’s apart of. Can’t believe he has a job at Barstool still.

Get rid of Nate and Glenny. They don’t bring anything to the discussion. Nate just likes to insult people (ironic) and I don’t think Glenny understands the basic rules of the show

Title says it all. Tommy breaks down survivor better than Steven Cheah can break down Tampa Bay’s offensive line film. He is the future of survivor. And to top it off, he is a brilliant digital artist making once in a life time NFTs.

Nate’s a great writer, but please get him off the pod. He obviously loves the show but last week’s recap with Jeff and Tommy was noticeably better without him. No disrespect. You guys do a great job.
